Two good weeks

I am really excited about the last 10 days of training after a week of training by myself during spring break where I felt like I would never get into shape. I think Coach Smith is trying to kill me but these two weeks but so far I have survived and am definitely improving. Last week on Tuesday I did a 12 minute fartlek followed by 6 200s in 26high on Tuesday. Wednesday I did 5 800's in 219. Thursday a 3 mile fartlek in 15 minutes. Friday 7x300m in 41low. Sunday a steady medium long run. Compared to the week before I made huge improvements. I seem to be able to round in shape faster than I used to in college. I am at least a month away from being able to put down times in races that I will feel proud of but training will get there. Tomorrow I am leaving to go to Mexico for my brother's wedding. It will be a great time and I am actually looking forward to working out down south as well. I am planning on racing the following week in a low key meet in Wichita. I am planning on running both the 1500 and the 800. It is a great time to start the season.
