Slow and Steady

I just wanted to write a quick update. I tried to push my calf a little early to get ready for US indoors and it didn't work out. It was taking a little longer than I expected anyway and during a steady run on Tuesday I aggravated it. Now I am taking the next week or two weeks really slow to get it completely healthy before I try again. It is a little disappointing to not get to race indoors but I am still excited for the year. Overall training has been great the last few months so a couple weeks down shouldn't matter in the long run.
